While getting coffee at Starbucks the other day, I was admiring two panoramic photos they have hanging on the wall. One is a photo of all of the fire companies of Canton, Ohio. The other is a bird’s eye view of Canton from the McKinley Hotel. How many people walk by those photos, and never bother to find out where they are, or that they are even in their hometown. The photo with the bird’s eye view shows the frame of the Renkert Building in the early stages of construction.
The Ramsayer Research Library exists to collect, preserve, and exhibit our most important treasures…Each Other…
We bring joy to so many people who walk through our door. People who seek information, which helps them, find peace of mind, and satisfaction. Volunteers, and staff alike, share the same mission in each photo scanned, each description written, and each book wrapped up for preservation etc. etc. etc.
Thank you for your support of the McKinley Presidential Library & Museum, and the Ramsayer Research Library which provides so much joy to so many, from around the world…
