The museum staff was invited to visit the J.E. Reeves Victorian Home and Museum in Dover, Ohio. Five staff members and one guest toured the Carriage House from 1902, and the house that Valentine Wills built in the late 1860’s, and Jeremiah Reeves purchased in 1898.
We learned a piece of Tuscarawas History, we made new friends, and we shared ideas to benefit both our museum and the J.E. Reeves Victorian Home and Museum.
The house is decorated for Christmas in the theme of World War I. Their staff and volunteers did a fantastic job creating a classy presentation, that peaks your interest!
Thank you to Curator, Tabitha Johnson for the very informative, and interesting tour of the main house! Thank you to Executive Director, Tammi Mackey Shrum for inviting us to visit, and collaborate!
